Always a woman of faith, but not until a devastating accident, have I become passionate about sharing how to see God’s blessings in every situation.

And so I have written my first book about the journey and how it is helping others to learn to open their eyes and hearts to the little things. To look back and see how God has placed the right people who just “seemed” to be there when you need them most. They “happened” to say the right thing. Or it may have been YOU who were placed there for someone else, saying just the right thing. It’s an awesome experience to take the quiet time with God, to allow him to show you how important the little things can be.

I moved cross country several times. Somewhere in the midst of a busy life, God had plans of His own to rearrange things….both literally and figuratively. I was crushed in a horrific car accident in 2006. I almost lost my legs on the scene. Once life-flighted, the surgeon felt that even if he could repair my mangled legs, I would never walk again. In 2009 I actually walked in the Houston Half-Marathon as my personal show of gratitude for what God had restored. Now, I am passionate about sharing what God has shown me. He has opened my eyes and heart to see His Blessings. He bestowed upon me such gratefulness for the little things in everyday life. I now live with a new appreciation for how precious every moment is and love to share exactly that.

Psalm 25: 15 My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
